This 2-CD set collects together the highly acclaimed albums Illumina (runner-up 2000 Gramophone Awards) and Blessed Spirit, showcasing the celebrated Choir of Clare College, Cambridge, directed by Timothy Brown, in music from Hildegard of Bingen to Ligeti's Lux Aeterna and Tavener's Funeral Ikos . The recordings were produced by John Rutter in the peerless acoustic of the Lady Chapel at Ely Cathedral.
