Public Workstation Facilities (PWF)

The following communal facilities are situated around the College.  Workstations are a combination of PCs and Macs and provide access to many software packages as well as email and internet access.  Most PCs can boot to Linux except for those in the Lipstein Law Reading Room (J Staircase) and the email only terminals on H staricase and in the LCR.

Memorial Court

Forbes Mellon Library

Upstairs computer room: 6 workstations, 1 scanner, 1 colour laser printer
Downstairs computer room: 5 workstations, 1 scanner, 1 laser printer

Alcove upstairs FML, just before the Neild Room: 2 workstations which print to the Downstairs printer

Library Common Room: 1 email only terminal

In addition to these facilites, there is a quiet study room through the Neild Room with individual study carrels which have network sockets to allow you to connect your own lapop to the internet.

2 PCs, 1 laser printer (no Linux)

K Staircase

Ground and first floors.  Each room has 4 workstations and 1 laser printer

X Staircase (X2)

Ground floor computer room.  6 PC workstations, 1 scanner and 1 colour laser printer

Hepple Room: 2 workstations, 1 laser printer

H staircase

1 email only terminal

Colony

Castle House

E staircase (basement): 10 workstations, 1 colour laser printer, 1 scanner, 1 Macintosh G4 with separate A3 printer
