The Gillespie Centre
Our new and exciting conference facilities in The Gillespie Centre are open for business from February 2009. The light, airy design and flexible meeting rooms, combined with wireless connectivity and modern audio visual facilities, offer all the ingredients for you to host memorable events and conferences. Adjoining the conference space, 34 new executive bedrooms will significantly enhance the accommodation on offer at Clare College.
The Centre is built to the highest standards of sustainability, uses solar thermal panels and a Ground Source Heat Pump for efficient heating and cooling. Energy consumption will be kept to a minimum with extensive insulation and large, solar-coated, south facing windows will limit heat gain in the summer, keeping our delegates cool at all times.
