Teaching Excellence Tutor showing Wasp Model to student

College-based teaching of undergraduates, individually and in small groups, lies at the heart of a Cambridge education and underpins its excellence. Clare's outstanding record in undergraduate teaching reflects the expertise and dedication of the College's teaching fellows, who give so generously of their time and expertise for little financial reward.

Clare is committed to recruiting, retaining and developing the best academics, across all subject areas, through funded fellowships; and to recognising those who deliver high-quality undergraduate supervisions, through a Teaching Excellence Fund.

The College aims to strengthen still further the quality of learning, by improving its educational infrastructure, especially in the area of IT.

A donation of £260 a quarter for three years, made under the Gift Aid scheme, will fund a teaching fellowship for a year (where the fellow also holds a university post).

Named Fellowships

Clare is happy to name a teaching fellowship according to the donor's wishes, and to earmark a particular named position for a specified subject, where circumstances permit. For further information, please contact the Development Director .
