Clare
College Oral History Series
The thoughts and reminiscences of four of Clare's most senior Fellows
have been captured on CD as part of a unique history series. Conversations
originally recorded as part of research for the book "Clare Through
the Twentieth Century" have, with the professional assistance of
Dr John Rutter (1964), been developed into intimate potraits of
the lives of four of Clare's most respected and well-loved Fellows.
The CDs feature Reverend
Professor Charlie Moule (1944) in conversation with Dr John Rutter
and Dr Peter Knewstubb (1950); Professor Kurt Lipstein (1956) in
conversation with Mr Colin Turpin (1961) and Dr Terry Moore (1976);
Dr Gordon Wright (1958) in conversation with Dr Celia Duff (1972)
and Mr Peter Barron (Chief Clerk); and the late Professor John Northam
in conversation with Mr Duncan Robinson (1962) and Miss Olivia Horsfall-Turner
(1998).
The Clare College Oral
History Series is available for purchase through the Development
Office. Single CDs can be purchased for £12 each (including
postage and packaging) or the set of four CDs for the price of £40
