Graduate Admissions: Scholarships and Finance

Citizens of the European Union are treated as British students and are charged fees at the Home student rate. Students from other countries are charged University fees at the Overseas rate which is substantially more (see list of Fees and Charges).

Support from Clare College

From time to time the College advertises special Studentships and Fellowships for open competition. They include:

The Leventis Scholarship and the Mallinson, William Senior, Harrison Watson, G R Elton and Decani Studentships may be offered to candidates who intend to start research at Cambridge. Enquiries should be made to:

The Denman Baynes Studentship would only be offered to an established research student in his/her second year at this University. The two Research Fellowships are open to Graduates or research students of any University. These Fellowships are highly competitive and are intended for people of exceptional talent who are about to finish, or have just finished, a PhD. Enquiries should be made to:

With the exception of these special Studentships and Fellowships, the College is unable to offer support to graduates who are beginning their graduate studies.
