Harrison Watson Senior Studentship

Applications now closed.

The College seeks applications for a Harrison Watson Senior Studentship to run for one year initially but extendable a year at a time up to a normal maximum of three years from the date of election. It is intended that the Studentship will allow the successful applicant to become fully involved in the life of the College on a par with the Fellows.

The Studentship was endowed for "the encouragement of research into the causes and cure of tuberculosis and/or other diseases of an allied character" but the wording is interpreted in the widest possible way and is now extended to include research in all fields related to medicine.

Applicants should write to The Administrator of the Harrison Watson Committee, Clare College, Cambridge, CB2 1TL, describing how they hope to benefit from the Studentship and the contribution they will make to the intellectual life of the college. They should provide a brief description of the research they will be doing, the names of two referees and a full curriculum vitae.  The closing date for applications is Friday, 11th July 2008.

For further details please email the Graduate Administrator, Mrs Sue Goodbody on smg44@cam.ac.uk
