The photocopier is situated in the
library computer room. Photocopying is done using your University
card. Before you can make any copies take your card to the FML Enquiry
Desk (office hours only) to have it encoded. Once encoded insert
it in the value loader on the wall beside the copier and charge
it with cash (20p,50p £1 & £2 coins only) up to
the value of £10. Then when you put the card into the unit attached
to the copier the cost will be deducted from the amount on your
card as you copy.

An articulated skeleton is available for use in the library and first year medical students can borrow a half-skeleton and skull for the year.
Engineering crib sheets
are available on the shelf at the end of the Term in which they
are issued and must not be removed from the library.
The FML has a DVD collection, including foreigm films and light entertainment, a CD collection of classical music and an audio book collection; all of these can be borrowed.

The downstairs computer room is situated
in the library and two PCs are in alcoves on the upper floor. The
upstairs computer room is in the library building and is open 24hrs
a day and is accessed from outside the library. There are two PCs
and a printer in the LLRR. The computers are managed by the University
Computing Service who issue all students with a PWF password, required
for logging on. Any printing done is charged to the individual's

Transparencies for photocopying
and computer discs can be bought from the library staff.
Students are welcome to
use the fax machine to send and receive faxes (01223-765560)
Various small items of equipment (such
as a long-arm stapler and a heavy-duty hole punch and stapler) are
available in the library office.
During office hours the library offers both a lamination service and a comb binding service.
