Clare College Research Associate Scheme
Clare College has set up a College Research Associate Scheme to offer short-term collegiate affiliation to about 15 postdoctoral researchers in Cambridge who would like a College association of some kind but do not have one. College Research Associates are offered dining rights, access to the College's sports facilities, gardens and occasional use of College public rooms. The College offers this affiliation to post-docs who are recommended by Fellows of Clare (normally Directors of Studies) where there is a teaching need. The offer is made for one year (renewable) and in the expectation that the College Research Associate will reciprocate by supervising for the College, if required, for around three hours a week.
